Drowning in a sea
Of passion
You and me
Pretending, in a fashion, not to see
Reality
My breath overcome
With rolling waves of lust
And betrayed trust
Knowing that we must
Touch
Suddenly
Before the magic dies
And our lies
Become the truth
That our eyes
Fail to disguise
And the ocean
Uncaring of our sins
Opens it’s heart
And consumes us.
