Don’t get me wrong. I have a thousand inspirational quotes to share. But sometimes something a bit trite and unimportant provides perspective on that which IS important.
I got laughed at by grandchildren when I said I loved hearing boogie woogie on the piano. Then of course they had to know what it was. Think they were disappointed in my answer! ; )
In my younger days (just a couple years back … 😛), I played a hot boogie-woogie on the piano! It may seem weird to today’s generation, but I find it awfully difficult to get much of out today’s music when it’s essentially nothing more than maintaining a (loud) beat and a bit of vocal screaming. *sigh* Old age can be such a downer, huh?
