A nasty kind of rash

Word of the day – rash

Please forgive me sweetheart
I’m afraid I’ll have to dash
I’m coming down with something
Like a nasty kind of rash
I know you meant me kindness
I know you meant to please
But falling for you, baby
Has been like catching a disease

I’ve been feeling kind of sweaty
While we’ve been having fun
And I woke up with this feeling
That it might be time to run
My heart’s been working overtime
My pulse been running fast
And I don’t know with this pressure
How much longer I might last

So, I’ll have to see a doctor
To advise of my complaint
And he will tell me to refrain
To exercise restraint
The simple fact is we will be
What we will always be
The simple fact is that you have

More energy than me
