I was mentioning my lack of French to someone earlier and was reminded of a friend who once recorded an album of covers, one at least of which was sung in the language of love. I don’t think that he spoke a word of French himself then and nor does he now.
I just thought that it might produce a soft giggle on a quiet Easter Sunday.

Yes, it is him then… His accent is almost perfect. If I had not known he wasn’t French, it would have taken me a little time noticing it! And he does have a very nice voice! 🙂

He is, in fact, from Dubbo – a western NSW town. Almost nothing could be less French than Dubbo.

I hope I’ll get to visit Australia, someday. As time passes by, I “meet” more and more Aussies, and it really tickles my traveling curiosity!
