I think this one has a slightly misogynistic tone to it. Sorry. I hope the photo balances that out
His smile was like some kind of magic
and me. A tragic
Waiting for Him to cast His spell
and to lightly sell
me a line that i could tightly hold
and allow Him to mould
me into the shape
of His desire
and texture of
His pleasure
forever
for Him to admire
as treasure.
There’s also a sweetness and longing in this as well. Like a small boy seeking the approval of his dad.

Maybe I’m daft but I didn’t get a misogynistic vibe at all…
’tis lovely!
And the picture is just plain adorable.

Well …. it has a bit of a Mills & Boon feel to it perhaps. You know, weak female vying for the attention of some egotistical male. Maybe not.

Nah, even with that explanation I get more of a Raglan Road impression – unrequited attraction, mournfully expressed.
A bit more sad than my initial sense of budding romance and a girl poetically waxing about possibilities. But I’m a bit odd on my best days 😉
Still, even with melancholy added I think it’s lovely.

I had to look up Mills and Boon. The U.K. and Australia, at least…

To be honest I don’t know if Mills&Boon still exist. I hope not.
